The Department of Electrical Engineering and Electric Vehicle Technology at Seethi Sahib Memorial Polytechnic College was started in 2025 to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the electrical and electric mobility sectors. The department provides a strong foundation in electrical systems, power technologies, and emerging electric vehicle applications.

The department offers a three-year Diploma Programme, covering core areas such as electrical machines, power systems, control systems, power electronics, renewable energy, and electric vehicle technology. The curriculum is designed in line with industry standards and current technological advancements.
