Right to Information (RTI)

At Seethi Sahib Memorial Polytechnic College, Tirur, the Right to Information (RTI) framework empowers stakeholders to seek authentic information regarding the institution’s administration, academic activities, and decision-making processes.

Filing an RTI Application (Applicants seeking information under the RTI Act may follow these steps: )

RTI Application

1. Submit the application in the prescribed RTI format.
2. Pay the prescribed fee as per RTI rules.
3. Provide clear and specific details of the information requested.
4. Include complete contact information for correspondence.

Timeline for Response

• 30 days – for normal applications
• 48 hours – for matters concerning life or liberty
• 35 days – if third-party information is involved
• 30 days – for disposal of the first appeal

Fee Structure

• Application Fee: ₹10
• Document Copies: ₹2 per page
• Inspection of Records: Free for the first hour; ₹5 per hour thereafter
• BPL (Below Poverty Line) Applicants: No fee applicable
